On October 20, the world's fastest high-speed train, CR450, was undergoing operational assessments at Yichangbei Railway Station. Before entering official service, the train must complete 600,000 kilometers of trial operation. During testing, the CR450 set a new speed record, reaching 453 kilometers per hour in single operation and 896 kilometers per hour in relative passing speed. It can accelerate to 350 kilometers per hour in just 4 minutes and 40 seconds.
