On 15 August, to commemorate the 80th anniversary of the victory of the Chinese People's War of Resistance Against Japanese Aggression and the World Anti-Fascist War, the special exhibition Railways in Flames – China's Railways During the War of Resistance opened at the Dongjiao Pavilion of the China Railway Museum. Eighty years ago, trains roared through the smoke of war; today, visitors retrace those wartime memories amid weathered locomotives and historical relics.
